Happy Summer…..and some exciting announcements!!
We Want To Get To Know You! (We also kind of want to brag about you)!
Starting in June VKAP will choose a Kin, Kin/Foster or Kin/Adoptive family once a quarter to highlight. We want to share your awesomeness!! If yo feel comfortable sharing your kin journey please contact VKAP. You choose what to share during the interview process and if you’re able and comfortable, share some pictures. If you prefer a face to face chat, we can Zoom! This is not a process that will eat up your time, gas money, or cause the need for childcare. We just want to celebrate Kin families and honor you all in every way we can!
If you are interested in sharing your kin journey, please contact lori@vermontkinasparents.org . Remember, your story could be the hope and guidance some new kin family needs!!
Also Coming Soon…… Be on the lookout for Meet VKAP! Because we understand that it can be incredibly hard to share things with strangers, particularly some of the very personal things you have the courage to share! We are going to share ourselves, and a bit about our journeys in our family setting. We’re going to show you the faces that go with the voices on the phone, We are all in this together!
Can you handle a little more? VKAP will soon have “Open Office Hours”!! Have a question? Hop on the computer, Zoom into the office and there we will be. Different times, different hours, different offerings…… watch for more information!
