This can occur when a child is separated from their biological parent(s), resulting in a primal wound equivalent to wartime PTSD. "Through The Eyes of A Child" - It's essential for adults caring for such children to understand their experience and behaviors from the child's perspective, acknowledging the long-lasting impact on their body and mind. By doing so, they can provide the special care and support needed to help these children heal. |
